How to Make the Most of a Vonage Business Phone System

One of the biggest advantages disadvantages of working in a modern workplace is the fact that everyone has their own cellphone. While this does make it easier to contact people when they are not in the office building, the din of a few hundred phones going off at once gets more than a little bit disruptive and confusing. Also problematic was the fact that we consistently had to make use of an extremely complex cost compensation system in order to pay our employees back for the specific amount of money that they were spending on company calls - a system that was annoying for all parties involved and no doubt full of waste. All of this changed when my business switched to a Vonage business phone system. Now, employees can hear when they are getting a call, even when they are making use of their headsets connected to their computers. This way, we no longer have to deal with phones ringing for hours on end without anyone picking up.

So long as they are in the office, they log their calls directly on to the Vonage system, where we can keep track of expenses and directly pay bills. Our Vonage phone service is not less clear and reliable than our old phone services, but it is a great deal less expensive.


In fact, this non-cell tower dependent service even means that certain areas of the office that once had difficulty getting a good signal now actually have a much better time.
